These are my second attempt at vintage looking flowers and I’m proud of myself 🙂

Well my past two days have been merged together cause i haven’t really slept so i managed to do my nails.  Here they are

Evil step mothers, snacks, and nails

I feel like all my posts start off the same.

Its always me saying sorry for waiting so long to post and blah blah blah and well I guess I’m not really used to keeping a journal so to speak. That really dates back to my teenage years when my step mother snooping through my things to find new and exciting   horrible ways to punish me. I used to love writing in a journal every day; between 4 step brothers and sisters and a mean step mother it helped me keep my sanity! But after a couple incidents in which I got punished for the things i wrote in MY PRIVATE  journal, I learned to keep it all inside. I’m pretty sure we’ve all heard the “you have no privacy while living under MY roof”‘ or maybe that was just my psycho family. Anyhow, those are stories for another day 🙂

I’ve actually missed talking to you guys!  There’s been a lot going on lately…but in reality, for today I just stopped by to share a nail post and a few snacks. =D

 

 

 

If you can’t tell (I know I know I need more practice) but this is Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh. Its simple and it surprisingly has lasted 4 days.

 

 

 

 

THIS, my friends is pure deliciousness! Ever since I was little I’ve enjoyed this drink. I just take three freezer pops and chop em’ up as I empty them into my glass and then pour water over them….insert a straw and BAM!!!!!!!!!! The most refreshing drink you can ever ever everrrrrrrr have 🙂

 

and lastly,

 

 

A strawberry yogurt filled with banana and grapes, topped with granola! First off I have to give a HUGE GINORMOUS thank you to my wonderful hubby for putting up with me. I had the world’s most excruciating cramps and I was being a brat and he went and picked up this yogurt for my tummy :p. Anyway, the place we get these is awesome! They sprung up out of no where about a year ago and since then have many many MANY franchises. They are called Las Delicias de Michoacan which literally translated means the delicacies of Michoacan (Michoacan, Mexico)

They don’t have a website yet, but basically they are a family owned business that sell:

• Fresh homemade ice cream in many different flavors
• yogurt with fruit
• Fresh “aguas” ( flavored waters)
• Elotes (mexican corn)
• homemade chips
• tortas (mexican sandwiches)
• and a million other creations that until the day they opened I have never seen anywhere else.

I know my description isn’t great, but don’t judge them by that, do some research and see if there is one near you. They have many delicious things and you’re bound to find a million things  something you like. 🙂

 

 

p.s. I have a new found love/obsession with mason jars…omg I LOOOOOVE THEM lol. anyone else share this obsession? :p

Notd/Nails of the day

Since I went to the zoo with my nieces today, the night before i decided to do an animal inspired manicure.

Nail of the day

Good morning.
Woke up truly exhausted and i just needed to throw on a coat of something to go to the gym…so hear it is.

Simple. But i definitely over did it with the flowers…next time i know what not to do 🙂

Wednesday’s notd

yesterdays notd (nail of the day) was a quick two nail polish design i used a dotting tool and just randomly placed dots of the opposite color on each nail. The colors are obviously interchangeable and completely up to you…i used:

I pink i can by: sally hansen complete salon manicure

&

Sea spray by: China glaze

Hope you liked it or took some kind of inspiration from it.

Manicure Monday

Well my friends its been too long since I’ve posed a notd (nail of the day) so this is my attempt at getting back in the game.

Tonight is nothing more than two coats of 2 different nail polishes and here it is:

As you can tell in the picture the names of the polishes i used are

Flip flop fantasy by China glaze
Hazy by Revlon top speed

Compared to my last notd posts these are boring…i know but you guys have to remember this month i underwent major open heart surgery and can’t even take myself a shower…so Im just starting to be able to do the small stuff like painting my nails.

I hope that by my next notd post Im able to make things more elaborate.
